Why “feel it to heal it” ain’t gonna cut it…

You’ve heard this phrase before: “Feel it to heal it“, right?

I’ve been feeling it but NOT healing it for a very long time… 

And I know MANY other humans stuck in the same loop.

The loop of “What’s wrong with me?“ – why it seems to work for everyone else but not me?

The truth is: with any chronic, stuck, stacked, inescapable imprints and conditions simply “feel it to heal it“ just ain’t gonna cut it.

And here is why 👇

Our Bodies tend to self-organise around our difficulty, our pain, our trauma. So that the rest of our ecosystem would be less affected by it. And it is only human that we go and we trauma-dig, re-poke the pain, analyse and pathologise, we “feel it to heal it”, over and over. 

But somehow we still feel stuck in it…

Have you experienced it before too? 

We live in a world of a relentless forward agitation and continuous growth for the sake of growth. In a world where “healing” is almost always considered an act of ‘fixing’ something that is wrong. An act of solving the symptoms, getting better, healing that thing so you can get on with your life.

And of course, you want to feel better and more regulated! Of course! 

But when it doesn’t work as planned, hello old friend – shame. (I would know, believe me.) 

We do all those things and we forget to build the foundation first. 

We got the order backwards!

We forget to cultivate the capacitysensitivityskills, and awareness to process our “Stuff” effectivelyefficiently, and safely

We forget to un-shame what’s been shamed and to thaw what’s been frozen first.

Healing is not about – oh you have this difficulty, let’s make it better, let’s feel it all, so you can release it, let’s make it go away. 

Healing and self-regulation is about – you have this intelligent body response, let’s amplify the pulse of life, widen the somatic capacity, and listen deeply for the intelligence and medicine that’s in it. Let’s listen for the inherent treatment plan that your Body knows how to access.

I am here to hold a very different paradigm for you:

Healing is not about eradicating the symptoms.

Healing is about embracing the difficult places in our experience as portals to our essential nature.

Healing is about an eternal re-orienting process from a familiar wounding and injury to the unfamiliar layers of support. 

Healing is about repatterining through repetition and friction. 

Healing is about practicing danger on purpose so that it becomes a part of our accessible range of regulation.

P.S.: What I am talking about is very different from “just accept it” or “being grateful”, or “positive thinking”. VERY different. I am talking about growing capacity to listen and respond to your Body without shame. 

P.S.S.: Going trauma-digging without building this foundation first, can actually lead to re-traumatising and feeling stuck in the looping even more.

P.S.S.: This is not a magic pill that will make everything go away. It is a practice of re-connection and re-patterning.

One enters the Bodyverse not to escape things. 

One enters the Bodyverse to see things exactly as they are.
